listening to the state of the union from the television in mom’s room
some true things:
until seven o’clock all I’d eaten all day were pirate cake, some bits of cookies, coffee and two cans of diet coke . oh. and two clementines.
my nutritional intake was then ameliorated by tofu salad, some total cereal, cashews and other odds and ends. and now, wine. which is fruit, so that’s good. right?
Mary Kim Arnold is really smart and lovely and made what could have been a meh or ok or nice panel into something that made me re think what I do in a useful way. she brought grace and humor, for which I am grateful.
my landline is broken and I may have been slightly hysterical and stubby - STABBY autocorrect, stabby- with Verizon employees earlier this evening, although I did acknowledge that they were not necessarily responsible for the trifecta, the jackpot, the what the fucking fuck of misery that is my material broken fucked up life. ( material being all the stupid detail bullshit of things and things)
I remain cognizant of the possibility of gratitude.
working on it.
